| as for the grunts, I just recalled Si told that Mark uses some kind of chocolate milk or something (I don't remember exactly but the chocolate is important thing ) to grunt better and yep, you're right, warm water is perfect btw, what is the perfect time of day for singing in your opinion? When do you usually sing? I love this thread too! | |

| Haha yeah, singing tired i bad, you dont sound as good as you could
As we are speaking about singing what do you think about singers being modified in studio to sound better than they really do? I think it's stupid and shameless cheating, person who cant sing doesnt have to sound like good singer | |

| of course, it's a shame. and I don't see the point actually. I mean ok, in studio you sound perfect and so but what about live perfomences? if you really suck live and people know it there's no sence to use all these studio things to improve your voice. No one likes to be cheated like that I think. And btw, some time ago I had some kind of soft program which can make you pitch right note and it's sounds so lame OMG it's easier to sing right than to use this soft, really | |

| Yes i agree, what is the point to sing if you really dont have any talent? I use echo on my covers because it makes it sound more flowing and beautiful, not really that it would hide my mistakes, i think i shall stop using echo too when i get the new mic if it's sound crystal clear What do you think about getting your voice layered, like recorded many times in studio and but up on it? Here's example, you can hear clearly on the operatic parts it's recorded multiple parts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfjMAvPHI4E&feature=related | |

| I use some kind of reverb too cause without it I sound awful with my shitty mic oh, I like it very much! it sounds great I'd love to record myself in harmonic way but I always get lazy with mixing and so and it must be quite difficult cause you need to sing the same parts in different ranges and be perfect with pitch otherwise it'll be sound terrible I think you really need notes for vocal lines to do it | |
