Villieläin are a power metal band from Tampere, Finland. They formed in 2006 and released a demo the same year. The name of the group means "Wild Animal" and the group's lyrics centre around the idea of humans coming together to form an animal. Their music is inspired by the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm and their lyrics also contain references to these stories. They incorporate female colaratura vocals and industrial sounding keyboards into their songs and are progressively gaining more fame through internet forums and promotional videos. They toured regularly but were not signed to a record label until 2008, when they were swept up by Universal[1] music. Their debut album, Julma Satu will be released in the Spring of 2009. Their first single Kaiverrettu Hiekkaan has been widely played on Finnish mainstream radio stations and is a download only release. Their second single, Voittamaton was released on the 12th of May 2009.
This is a fantastic band that Ene got me into. I am always looking for hot talent of the Finnish variety to get my teeth stuck into
Villielain are quite unheard of- they haven't even made it into 'Metal From Finland' last time I checked. But this band are a hidden gem. Brilliant music. Just wish I could understand the vocals lol (lack of Suomi knowlegde)

Kaiverrettu Hiekkaan __________________________
Stormclounds above are gathering, When I open the book pages. The shadows gather to, Nightmares calls by name, but I no longer listen to one of them.
chorus: Only the futility of all the remainder, Even if I pass dead ahead.
Chorus 2
The words engraved on the sand, They sustained it not. I writed it again, They always wind took.
On the coast I entered cruel fairy tale. Boundary on this side Not false, nor true, There is only power, and the winners.
Chorus
Chorus 2
The words engraved on the sand ... The words engraved on the sand ... What happens? The words engraved on the sand ...
Chorus 2
The words are engraved on the sand . The words are engraved on the sand

I am, I am now invincible
Silent desire, the desire to implement, strike to death, I no longer have exclusive no more, goes with the animal's power, not a single piece of heart is left on the beast, it attracts it enchants, it kills it revenges, now manage predators to rule ___________________________________________________

lyrics in english and it would be less cringe worthy.
kuoleman suudelma only bearable song in my opinion.
but musically little bit too polished and balless, but potential.
and i wouldn't call this power metal, more like symphonic.

It's a good band. Mr Eetu showed me them. They aren't really heard of over here in Greece. but it would be awesome if they toured around here, I'm sure we would love them
